Makin' Music Camp

Presented by Rockdale Music

Join us at our Media location in the Sage Farmhouse for an amazing week of summer camp! Each week, the songs and crafts will be based on that theme. Campers will get a special Camp CD to take home with all the songs we do at camp. On Friday each week at noon, the campers put on a show for parents and guests. We are a peanut free camp.

Sandi has passed the torch to Jared, the owner of Rockdale Music and a long time part of the Makin' Music family. The curriculum and most of the staff will remain the same, including Dana & Shaina. The high quality music enrichment programs that you have come to expect from Makin' Music will continue. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out. Read a letter from Jared below.

Meet Jared & Team

For those of you who don't already know me, I am Jared Loss. I run Rockdale Music, the music school up the hill from Makin' Music on the Hillwood Farms campus, and I have been a part of the Makin' Music family for over 10 years. I previously taught Makin' Music classes side-by-side with Sandi and Kim and continue to play in the Makin' Music band for live performances.

I was bummed, as many of you were, when I heard that Sandi is not going to run the Makin' Music Summer camps this year. After a conversation with Kim, the founder of Makin' Music, we decided that the camp Sandi and Kim created over the years was too valuable an experience to allow to go by the wayside, and I am excited and honored to carry the torch and continue offering Makin' Music camps to kids for many years to come.

Sandi will of course be missed dearly, however, the curriculum and most of the staff will remain the same. The high quality music enrichment programs that you have come to expect from Makin' Music will continue. I will do my best, with the help of a great team, to fill the large shoes that Sandi has worn for so many Summers as Makin' Music camp director. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out

I am happy to hear from each of you and already can't wait for summer to get here and to sing, dance, laugh and play with your kids and families!

All the best,

Jared
